A law firm seeks a motivated Mid-Level Associate Attorney in Brooklyn, New York, to join their expanding commercial practice. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of litigation or relevant experience and will contribute meaningfully to the firm's success.

Duties

• Handle pre-trial proceedings, discovery, motion practice, court conferences, and depositions.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery motions, and appellate briefs.
• Manage contract requests and conduct client interviews related to contracts.
• Perform legal research and manage disputes.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Inform partners of material developments in a timely manner.
• Exercise sound business and legal judgment.
• Demonstrate leadership in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of New York litigation experience.
• Member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
