Duties:

• Review incoming case files and develop action strategies, timelines, and budget forecasts

• Identify and coordinate all required legal pleadings

• Oversee the preparation of discovery responses and document production

• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings

• Prepare detailed post-event reports and recommendations

• Engage in settlement negotiations and prepare for litigation when necessary

• Maintain proactive communication with paralegals and legal support staff

• Track milestones and performance goals aligned with potential membership consideration

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and participate in mentorship programs

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia

• 1-5 years of experience, preferably within workers' compensation or insurance defense

• 1-3 years of prior insurance defense experience is preferred

• Ability to manage an independent caseload with minimal supervision

• Strong time management and organizational skills in a deadline-driven environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Georgia Bar (mandatory)

Skills:

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

• Willingness to work with legal management software and databases
