Legal Assistant

The candidate work will be 40 hours a week and is a hybrid virtual and in-office position. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish is required. Duties include: Online research that is presented in formal, organized manner. Answer phone calls in English and Spanish. Prepare letters in English and Spanish. Meet with clients in English and Spanish. Prepare immigration forms. Set up new files and close old files. Assemble court filings and immigration packets. Translate official documents, such as birth certificates and marriage certificates. Request police reports and court documents. Contact clients to obtain payments, Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
