This position focuses on advising insurers and litigating complex coverage and bad faith disputes. Location

Duties

• Provide legal counsel on insurance coverage matters, including bad faith and commercial litigation

• Draft detailed coverage opinions, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and mediations

• Develop litigation strategies and manage case progression from start to resolution

• Collaborate with internal legal teams and global colleagues

• Participate in business development training and mentoring opportunities

• Maintain billable performance consistent with firm expectations (1920-hour annual target)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage and litigation

• Background in bad faith and commercial litigation is highly preferred

• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Experience handling all phases of litigation, including drafting, discovery, and motion practice

• Proven ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a dynamic legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• Additional state admissions considered an asset
