A law firm seeks a mid-level Intellectual Property Transactions Associate to join their team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-technology and other IP-intensive transactions, including software, fintech, edtech, data analytics, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

Duties

• Assist in technology acquisition, development, and divestiture.
• Provide counsel on technology licensing and outsourcing.
• Draft and negotiate IT services contracts.
• Support transactions in high-technology, insurance, finance, energy, media, and gaming sectors.

Requirements

• 3rd to 6th year associate experience.
• Experience in IP-intensive transactions.
• Familiarity with high-technology industries.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
