A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate in New York City. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to providing strategic legal solutions in employment and labor law, representing employers in various legal settings.

Duties

• Litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters.
• Advise employers on compliance with fair employment laws and related risk management.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
• 5+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current New York Bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• New York Bar admission.
