Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Remote Insurance Coverage Attorney in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience handling program matters, including coverage analysis and monitoring matters involving D&O management liability, employment practices liability, lawyers professional liability, and other professional liability lines. This position is fully remote, and candidates from anywhere within the United States are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Analyze insurance policies
• Draft coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and disclaimers
• Monitor D&O, EPL, LPL, and E&O cases across the U.S.
• Retain and communicate with defense counsel for insureds
• Prepare bordereau and other client-specific reports
• Report and meet with underwriters and program producers

Requirements

• Experience interpreting D&O, EPL, LPL, E&O, and various other insurance policies
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and coverage letters
• Experience with Lloyd's of London program accounts, highly preferred
• Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
