Job Title: Trademark Associate Attorney (Clearance & Prosecution) 

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Atlanta, GA is actively seeking a Trademark Associate with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in trademark clearance and prosecution. The position offers an opportunity to support brand protection strategies for high-profile clients, including entertainment companies while managing global trademark portfolios. Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential, as is the ability to manage high-volume workloads with precision and autonomy. This role is being sourced on behalf of the firm by a legal recruiting partner.

Duties:

• Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios across various jurisdictions

• Conduct advanced trademark clearance, including risk analysis and opinion drafting

• Oversee trademark prosecution for both domestic and international filings

• Draft and respond to office actions, manage oppositions and cancellations, and coordinate filings with foreign counsel

• Advise on brand strategy and enforcement matters for clients, particularly in the entertainment industry

• Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to support broader IP initiatives

• Maintain consistent client communication and support on evolving trademark matters

• Stay current with domestic and international trademark regulations and developments

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of substantive trademark experience focused on clearance and prosecution

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex trademark matters independently

• Strong command of written and spoken Spanish and English

• Previous work with entertainment or media industry clients preferred

• Track record of managing large-scale docket portfolios

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic record

Certifications:

• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar in good standing

Skills:

• Proficiency in bilingual legal communication (Spanish/English)

• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and critical thinking abilities

• Organizational aptitude with attention to accuracy and deadlines

• Self-directed work ethic with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Experience with docketing systems and IP management software a plus
