Duties

• Consult with clients on litigation matters

• Prepare and organize case files for litigation

• Draft pleadings, legal briefs, discovery demands and responses, and motion papers

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Manage document review and production

• Appear in court for case-related conferences and proceedings

• Assist in or conduct depositions

• Collaborate with other attorneys as part of a litigation team

Requirements

• 1–3 years of litigation experience required (up to 5 years considered)

• Admitted to practice law in the State of New York

• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset

• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines

• Team-oriented and dependable work ethic

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required)
