Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm specializing in immigration and corporate law is seeking a highly skilled Attorney to join its team. This role requires strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to manage large, document-intensive cases. The position may also involve court representation.

Location:

• Chicago, IL

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, motions, and briefs
• Manage and oversee large caseloads efficiently
• Represent clients in court proceedings, if required
• Provide counsel on business formation, business disputes, litigation, and transactional matters
• Advise individuals and businesses on organizational planning and contract negotiations
• Handle federal procedures and federal litigation matters
• Conduct research across various legal areas to gain a comprehensive understanding of complex legal issues

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
• Experience with federal litigation and legal procedures
• Adaptability to work across multiple areas of law and conduct necessary legal research

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
• Illinois Bar membership preferred

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and research capabilities
• Strong litigation and case management skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex legal matters
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
