Location:

Duties:

• Manage a variety of insurance defense cases across multiple practice areas.
• Develop and execute strategies for early resolution and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
• Communicate with clients regularly, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Lead trial preparation, including drafting legal documents, motions, and case strategy.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to devise successful defense strategies and client solutions.
• Participate in professional development activities such as training, mentoring, and roundtables.
• Contribute to the firm's client development efforts and marketing initiatives.
• Utilize case management systems and legal technology to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience handling insurance defense matters.
• Proven track record in managing and litigating insurance defense cases.
• Ability to explore early resolution strategies and alternatives to traditional litigation.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Professional and timely communication with clients, providing consistent updates.
• Knowledge of ethical timekeeping and billing practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle a high caseload effectively.
• Technologically proficient with experience using case management systems and legal software.
• Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law is a plus.
• Florida Bar membership in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.
