The successful candidate will handle various commercial litigation matters, including business disputes, general litigation, and matrimonial matters in State and Federal Courts. This role offers the opportunity for client interaction, on-your-feet court experience, and direct involvement in all aspects of litigation.

Duties:

• Handle various commercial litigation matters, including business disputes and general litigation.
• Represent clients in State and Federal Courts, including New York state and/or federal courts.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage case files and deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Previous experience litigating in New York state and/or federal courts.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York Bar.
