Duties

• Handle representation of individuals and businesses in trial courts at the county, state, and federal levels

• Lead and participate in depositions, mediations, and legal hearings

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motion practice tailored to property insurance disputes

• Conduct settlement negotiations and strategic resolution discussions

• Maintain internal oversight of files and legal project timelines

• Manage client communication and case progress updates throughout litigation

Requirements

• Active Texas license in good standing

• At least one year of litigation experience preferred, with exposure to first-party insurance or similar practice areas

• Proficiency in evaluating and managing caseload independently

• Ability to meet performance metrics related to case progression and outcomes

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of Texas
