Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a highly qualified Financial Restructuring Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in financial restructuring. The ideal candidate should possess stellar academic credentials and prior experience working in a primary law firm environment.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial restructuring matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including restructuring plans, agreements, and court pleadings.
• Assist in negotiations with creditors, debtors, and other parties involved in restructuring transactions.
• Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and other litigation matters related to financial restructuring.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on restructuring options and implications.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligible for admission upon hiring).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial restructuring at a reputable law firm.
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy laws, financial markets, and restructuring strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
