Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm located in Boston is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The successful candidate must be admitted to practice in Massachusetts and will have the opportunity to gain valuable courtroom and deposition experience. The role entails handling a varied caseload including construction losses, product liability, fire losses, premises liability, and liquor liability actions. Strong academic credentials are required, and admission to multiple states or a desire to gain admission in additional states is preferred.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including court appearances, depositions, and other proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to strategize case management and client representation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.
• Assist in case evaluations and provide legal analysis on potential claims or disputes.
• Handle a varied caseload including construction losses, product liability, fire losses, premises liability, and liquor liability actions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Massachusetts.
• 3-5 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Admission to multiple states or a willingness to gain admission in additional states preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to practice law in Massachusetts.
