The successful candidate will litigate cases from inception through resolution, negotiate settlements, and handle all aspects of litigation, including trials. Duties

• Negotiate pre-litigation and litigation settlements with insurance companies and defense counsel.
• Litigate personal injury cases from filing complaints to resolution.
• Draft and propound discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft pleadings and manage law and motion activities.
• Appear in court and conduct legal research and writing.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Prepare for trials, including pre-trial motions and chairing trials.
• Review cases for settlement and draft settlement demands.
• Correspond with insurance companies and defense counsel.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of personal injury case handling experience.
• Licensed by the State Bar of California, in good standing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of California civil procedure for State Court cases.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Armenian is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
