A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Plaintiff's Personal Injury in Burbank, CA. The successful candidate will join a dynamic legal team, working directly with the lead attorney to represent clients in various personal injury cases.

Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including premises liability, auto accidents, slip and fall, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
• Manage a heavy caseload, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
• Draft pleadings, complaints, and motions; file lawsuits and perform legal research.
• Propound and respond to discovery, prepare mediation briefs, and conduct trial preparation.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motion and opposition hearings both remotely and in court.
• Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence.
• Negotiate and settle cases effectively.
• Provide excellent service to all clients.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the California State Bar.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated to learn and grow.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications
