Job Title: Pre-Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A Los Angeles-based law firm is actively seeking a driven and compassionate Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its growing plaintiff-side personal injury team. Duties:

• Serve as primary legal advocate for individuals involved in personal injury claims

• Negotiate and secure settlements with insurance providers and opposing parties

• Supervise a dedicated case team, including administrative staff, case managers, and lien negotiators

• Manage a caseload from intake to resolution, ensuring timely progress and quality outcomes

• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, set expectations, and build trust

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure documentation, medical records, and lien resolution are handled efficiently

• Maintain compliance with state bar regulations and firm guidelines

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of California

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury law or demonstrated capacity in client advocacy and settlement negotiation

• Strong organizational habits with a focus on detail, deadlines, and accountability

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or client experience

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Commitment to client-centered representation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Must hold an active and valid California Bar license in good standing

Skills:

• Expertise in negotiation and pre-litigation strategy

• Ability to lead and mentor team members

• Exceptional written and oral communication

• Familiarity with legal technology tools for case tracking and document management

• Client relationship management and empathy-driven service
