The role focuses on representing clients in employment-based, family-based, and humanitarian immigration matters. Duties:

• Prepare and file petitions and applications for various immigration cases.
• Handle responses to Requests for Evidence (RFE), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOID), Notices of Intent to Revoke (NOIR), audits, motions, and appeals.
• Review and ensure quality control of work performed by non-attorney staff.
• Maintain and update case statuses in case management systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to align with organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active and good-standing membership with the New York State Bar.
• At least 5 years of experience specializing in business immigration.
• Proficiency in handling 100+ case files simultaneously.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved institution.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing capabilities, particularly in drafting declarations, motions, and briefs.
• Proficient communication skills across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Familiarity with immigration case management systems such as INSZOOM.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
• Dedication to professional growth and a strong desire to advance within the legal field.
