Duties

• Handle multiple probate and trust administration cases for clients.
• Provide legal advice in estate planning and elder care.
• Draft estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
• Prepare entity formation documents for corporations and partnerships.
• Develop understanding of elder law issues, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Manage estate plan funding and client documentation.
• Ensure client satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries.
• Maintain accurate client records in Clio.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in Virginia.
• 2-5 years of experience in probate, estate planning, and trust administration preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn databases like Clio.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
