Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Discovery Attorney to join its Irvine, CA office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience advising and supporting case teams and clients on all discovery phases, from preservation through production, as well as pre-litigation information governance and trial preparation.

Duties

• Advise case teams and clients on discovery phases.
• Collaborate with attorneys, technologists, and clients to manage eDiscovery workflows.
• Oversee quality of work and deliverables for associated team members.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in discovery processes.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.
• In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
• Fluency with corporate messaging and productivity solutions.
• Expertise with Relativity is strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Relevant eDiscovery certifications preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
