Duties:

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and legal documents related to corporate transactions.
• Conduct due diligence and prepare related documentation to support transactional processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of corporate deals.
• Support clients with strategic advice on corporate governance, compliance, and general business issues.
• Assist in managing client expectations and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-6 years of corporate transactional experience, with a primary focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Prior experience as a mid-level associate handling M&A transactions in a law firm setting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member of the Connecticut State Bar or ability to become licensed in Connecticut promptly.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively counsel clients and work with team members.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex corporate matters.
