The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in asset-backed finance transactions, offering strategic legal advice on a wide range of structured finance matters. Duties:

• Lead and advise clients on asset-backed finance transactions, including securitizations and structured finance offerings.
• Collaborate with issuers, underwriters, placement agents, and collateral managers to execute complex financial transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as offering memoranda, purchase agreements, and indentures.
• Oversee due diligence processes and risk assessments related to structured finance deals.
• Provide strategic counsel on regulatory compliance and evolving market trends in asset-backed finance.
• Mentor and guide junior associates and legal support staff within the practice.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their ongoing legal needs and providing high-level insights.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in asset-backed finance or structured finance.
• Extensive knowledge of securitization transactions and related legal frameworks.
• Proven ability to work with clients across various sectors, including financial institutions and startups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
• Admitted to practice law in New York and in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the Bar in New York (must be in good standing).

Skills:

• Expertise in asset-backed and structured finance transactions.
