Duties:

• Manage a caseload of ongoing litigation matters.
• Draft and file complaints and other legal documents.
• Respond to motions and prepare motions for litigation purposes.
• Engage in settlement discussions with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
• Handle discovery requests and responses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Research and analyze legal issues to support case strategy and litigation efforts.
• Prepare and file legal memoranda and other litigation-related documents.
• Maintain communication with clients and provide legal updates.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar (required).
• Admission to the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey (required).
• Admission to the District Court of New York (required).
• Proven experience in litigation, with a preference for healthcare reimbursement cases, but not mandatory.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar Membership in New Jersey (required).
• Bar admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey (required).
• Bar admission to the District Court of New York (required).

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and legal memoranda.
