Assistant Professor, Program Director for Legal Studies
The candidate work on 9-month contract to serve as the Program Director for Legal Studies. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Legal Studies and serving on faculty committees at the School and College levels. Program Director responsibilities include daily administrative duties necessary for the smooth operation of the Legal Studies program. Must have a commitment to working in a multicultural setting. Should have experience advising and mentoring students. Applicants should have at least three years of legal experience, should have worked as a paralegal or should have experience working with paralegals.Should have a J.D. degree, be admitted to practice law, and in good standing with the Bar (NYS admission preferred). Should have a record of excellent teaching experience, and knowledge of Blackboard or equivalent Learning Management System is preferred.
Knowledge of ABA Paralegal Guidelines for Approval of Paralegal Programs is preferred.
