Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on legal rights, case developments, and defense strategies

• Draft and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery

• Represent clients in pretrial hearings, court appearances, and trials

• Analyze legal precedents and predict case outcomes to guide client decision-making

• Interview witnesses and engage expert testimony when necessary

• Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments

• Prepare clients for depositions and evaluate key objectives for case development

• Accumulate additional evidence for use in negotiation or trial

• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff on high-level defense cases

Requirements:

• Substantial experience handling criminal defense cases in federal, state, and local courts

• Ability to lead and manage a caseload with minimal supervision

• Comfortable mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to strategic case planning

• Proven courtroom and litigation experience with trial readiness

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of California
