The candidate must have 5 years of experience specific to trademark/copyright, and in-depth knowledge of trademark counseling, clearance, all stages of prosecution and maintenance, and international portfolio management; experience in handling complex office actions is a must. Strong experience in trademark disputes (e.g., demand letters, TTAB proceedings). Experience drafting pleadings, briefs and motions and handling discovery. Strong experience with a variety of Internet matters, including but not limited to UDRP proceedings; experience drafting IP-focused website/app terms of use and privacy policies a plus. Strong experience with online investigations and enforcement (e.g., significant enforcement experience involving major online platforms, and online investigative research experience, including via search engines, the Internet Archive and WHOIS queries/historical WHOIS databases). Strong experience with IP transactions, including but not limited to transfers, licenses, and manufacturing agreements and diligence reviews. Excellent writing, research and communication skills. Thrives working both on an independent basis and in a team environment. Nimble in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize and navigate a wide range of matters, and detail oriented. Committed work ethic. Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction in which you plan to practice.
