A law firm seeks a Senior Trusts, Estates, and Probate Attorney in Newport Beach, CA. This full-time position offers a long-term career opportunity with a focus on client service and professional growth. The role involves working in-office with potential for a hybrid model after training.

Duties

• Draft, review, and edit legal documents including Accounting Petitions and Conservatorship Petitions.
• Manage Trust Administration, Probate, and Conservatorship cases from start to finish.
• Design and consult with clients on Revocable Living Trusts and Special Needs Trusts.
• Address Probate Notes and Tentative Rulings, drafting necessary Supplements.
• Conduct client consultations and maintain strong client communication.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegals, legal assistants, and law clerks.
• Represent clients during hearings.
• Collaborate with the billing department to review and send invoices.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning, Trust Administration, Conservatorships, or Probate.
• Active California Bar license.
• Ability to handle cases independently after an initial orientation period.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, case management, and timekeeping software.
• High emotional intelligence and empathy toward clients.
• Must work in the office, with potential for a hybrid model after training.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
