A law firm seeks an Attorney in Dyer, IN to join its expanding commercial practice. The firm represents clients in diverse areas, including real estate, business transactions, commercial litigation, and employment law. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented professional who can work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Duties

• Advise and represent clients in real estate, business law, commercial litigation, and employment law matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Manage case files from initial consultation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and client correspondence.
• Appear in court, mediations, hearings, and closings as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, court rules, and ethical obligations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited, highly regarded law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Indiana and Illinois Bar.
• Relevant experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Professional demeanor with a strong client-service focus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed with the Indiana and Illinois Bar.
