Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in tax-related civil and criminal matters.

• Handle a variety of tax controversies including audits and appeals.

• Provide legal advice to clients regarding tax compliance and strategy.

• Prepare and review legal documents, including petitions and motions.

• Work with federal, state, and multi-state tax issues.

• Advise clients on tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with tax rules.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax law, particularly in tax controversy.

• Knowledge of tax law, including federal, state, and multi-state tax matters.

• Ability to work independently and manage complex cases with minimal supervision.

• Strong proficiency in general tax compliance, audits, and appeals.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills:

• Expertise in tax law, including both civil and criminal tax matters.

• Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to handle tax audits and appeals.
