Duties:

• Handle a diverse range of family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody, and support-related matters

• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and agreements tailored to clients' unique circumstances

• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and court appearances

• Maintain consistent, transparent communication with clients throughout case progression

• Collaborate with legal staff and senior attorneys to develop strategic approaches to casework

• Participate in internal development opportunities and training sessions

• Utilize modern legal technology to manage caseload and documentation efficiently

• Maintain accurate and timely billing and case tracking

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in family law preferred

• Background in litigation acceptable for candidates eager to transition into family law

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities under time constraints

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Client-centered mindset and professional empathy

• Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the Texas State Bar

Skills:

• Litigation fundamentals, including motion practice and courtroom etiquette

• Strong legal research and writing ability

• Effective client counseling and negotiation

• Time management and organization in a fast-paced practice

• Familiarity with legal tech platforms and case management tools
