A Los Angeles-based plaintiff-focused law firm seeks a driven, committed attorney to join its employment class action team. This role offers the opportunity to represent employees in complex wage and hour litigation, including class actions and representative PAGA matters. Duties:

• Represent clients in wage and hour disputes, including unpaid overtime, missed breaks, and unreimbursed expenses

• Handle plaintiff-side employment class action and representative PAGA litigation from intake to resolution

• Draft complaints, motions, and discovery documents with precision and clarity

• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in settlement conferences

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies

• Manage a caseload with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

• Participate in firmwide training and development initiatives

• Advocate for individuals in claims against mid-sized to Fortune 500 employers

Requirements:

• Licensed and active member of the California State Bar

• 1-4 years of experience in employment litigation, with demonstrated background in wage and hour class actions or representative PAGA matters

• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills

• Capable of independently managing litigation tasks in a fast-paced setting

• Demonstrated interest in plaintiff-side advocacy and social justice-oriented work

• Must be available to work on-site full-time in downtown Los Angeles

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing

Skills:

• Legal research and drafting proficiency
