Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate with 0–2 years of experience to join its team in Encino, California. This role is ideal for recent law school graduates or junior attorneys looking to build a solid foundation in civil litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of litigation matters.

Location:

• Encino, CA

Duties:

• Assist in handling civil litigation matters from inception to resolution

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda

• Attend court hearings, depositions, and client meetings under supervision

• Support senior attorneys in case preparation and trial strategy

• Maintain organized case files and documentation

Requirements:

• 0–2 years of experience in litigation or legal practice

• Strong interest in developing a career in litigation

• Excellent legal writing and research skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar (or pending admission if recently graduated)

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Willingness to learn and receive mentorship from experienced attorneys
