Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate to support its growing structured finance and derivatives practice. This opportunity is being offered through a recruitment partner on behalf of the firm. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience in negotiating and drafting derivatives documentation and should be well-versed in regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank and ISDA protocols.

Duties:

• Support transactions involving complex structured finance and over-the-counter derivatives

• Draft and negotiate documentation under ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, and Confirmations

• Advise on regulatory compliance issues, including Dodd-Frank-related protocols

• Coordinate with internal legal teams and external stakeholders on multi-party negotiations

• Analyze contractual risk and regulatory obligations across cross-border transactions

• Manage deadlines and deliverables for client engagements

• Participate in meetings, calls, and correspondence with clients, counterparties, and colleagues

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of focused experience in structured finance and derivatives work

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing OTC derivatives

• Prior large law firm experience strongly preferred

• Active Bar membership in Florida

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar (required)
