Location

Duties

• Investigate facts, review records, and develop damages evidence

• Negotiate settlements, including the resolution of medical and other liens

• Maintain strong and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and insurance representatives

• Supervise legal support staff and ensure efficient case handling

• Participate in strategic planning with legal teams to meet firm objectives

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other relevant legal proceedings

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense)

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio

• Familiarity with claims handling and/or insurance defense is a strong advantage

• Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload

• Adaptability to fast-paced legal environments with strict deadlines

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar

Skills

• Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team engagement

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with Needles case management software is preferred

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities
