Duties

• Handle a diverse range of litigation matters, including business, civil, family law, insurance, and personal injury cases.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide high-quality legal representation.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and discuss case developments.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and handling multiple cases simultaneously.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: business, civil, family law, insurance, or personal injury.
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain organized records.
• Effective communication skills and a client-focused approach to legal practice.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to achieving successful outcomes for clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Utah (or the ability to obtain licensure if relocating).

• Proficiency in legal research and case management.
