This role is perfect for a seasoned litigator with over 8 years of experience, particularly in medical malpractice or healthcare law. The successful candidate will work closely with a small, dynamic team of associates and paralegals while being guided by highly skilled trial attorneys with a proven track record in handling complex cases.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation from pre-trial through trial.

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and agreements.

• Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and meetings with clients.

• Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to support case strategies.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop and refine case strategies.

• Contribute to business development efforts and client relationship management.

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in the Utah State Bar.

• 8-10 years of experience in defending medical malpractice cases or practicing healthcare law.

• Comprehensive understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures.

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Utah State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial skills.

• Proficient in legal research and writing.

• Expertise in medical malpractice and healthcare law.

• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Clear and persuasive communication, both orally and in writing.
