A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in King County, WA. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of experience in civil litigation and be capable of managing cases throughout the litigation process with supervision. The role is based in downtown Seattle.

Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss legal issues and devise litigation strategies.
• Research cases by interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence.
• Draft motions and conduct discovery.
• Depose party opponents, experts, and third parties.
• Attend and argue at hearings on behalf of clients.
• Conduct hearings and trials as required.
• Assist clients with executing settlement agreements.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with motion practice is essential.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington.
