Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Case Development Intake Attorney in San Antonio, TX. The role involves managing a docket of approximately 50 cases, investigating and preserving evidence, and developing medical and triage cases. The attorney will handle property damage claims, communicate with clients and adjusters, and prepare status reports and case reviews.

Duties

• Investigate and develop commercial cases.
• Accept and manage incoming calls from potential new clients.
• Secure authorization to sign up, decline, or evaluate claims.
• Explain attorney-client contracts and sign up cases.
• Prepare monthly status letters for clients.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal obligations.
• Maximize case values and attorney fees.
• Handle additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Licensed in Texas and in good standing.
• 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
• Strong commitment to client service.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Valid TX driver license and good driving record.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas
