Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice on insurance coverage matters, focusing on professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Analyze complex insurance policies and coverage issues to advise clients on their rights and obligations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related documents, including policies, contracts, and regulatory filings.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation, managing cases through arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Prepare and file legal motions, briefs, and other essential documents for litigation and regulatory matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis on insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for case management to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and internal teams to address and resolve insurance claims and coverage challenges.
• Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and legal trends affecting insurance law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
