Job Overview: A law firm seeks a talented and motivated Employment and Labor Law Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join its Florham Park, NJ office. Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice on employment and labor law issues, including hiring practices, employee benefits, terminations, compliance, discrimination, and harassment.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
• Guide clients through internal investigations and recommend appropriate actions regarding employee complaints and disciplinary matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws to avoid disputes and litigation.
• Assist in litigation matters, including case assessment, strategy development, discovery, and case preparation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create training programs focused on compliance and best practices.
• Represent clients in employment-related disputes, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support well-informed guidance on various employment law matters.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on employment and labor law.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation with a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services.
• Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills.
• Admission to the New Jersey or New York Bar (Pennsylvania Bar admission is a plus).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in New Jersey or New York (with Pennsylvania Bar admission being a bonus).

Skills:

• Expertise in employment and labor law, including employment contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical and legal research skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
