Duties

• Assist with all aspects of case handling, including legal research and drafting documents.
• Defend clients in personal injury, habitability, products liability, and transportation cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Review and analyze documents for relevancy and privilege.
• Participate in discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Appear in court, attend settlement conferences, and mediations.
• Prepare and organize exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school.
• Active California state bar membership in good standing.
• 1 year of experience in litigation or relevant practice areas.
• Proficiency in legal research and strong writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases.
• Knowledge of civil procedure rules and court filing requirements.
• Available for some travel as necessary.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California state bar membership in good standing.
