Duties:

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex workers’ compensation matters

• Conduct in-depth legal research and craft advisory opinions on coverage issues

• Manage and take Examinations Under Oath (EUOs)

• Prepare pleadings for declaratory relief and manage litigation proceedings

• Maintain consistent communication with clients, claimants, and opposing parties

• Draft and respond to discovery, particularly in insurance-related disputes

• Assist with pre-trial preparation and deposition strategy

• Evaluate liability claims, including analysis of medical and billing records

• Engage in negotiations for pre-suit resolutions

• Organize and maintain detailed client case files for cross-functional access

• Support resolution of multiple claim scenarios under tight deadlines

• Handle additional legal tasks as necessary within the litigation department

Requirements:

• Current licensure with The Florida Bar

• Demonstrated excellence in written and spoken communication

• Proficiency in managing competing tasks and legal deadlines

• High attention to analytical details and case strategy

• Self-directed work ethic with an aptitude for team collaboration

• Strong focus on meeting performance targets, including billing metrics

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:
