Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys in reviewing and preparing guardianship petitions.
• Conduct legal research related to guardianship cases.
• Participate in court proceedings and hearings involving guardianship matters.
• Communicate with clients and their families regarding case status and legal options.
• Negotiate with opposing parties in guardianship disputes when necessary.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of legal documents related to guardianship cases.
• Uphold ethical standards and provide professional legal counsel to vulnerable individuals.

Requirements:

• Active Bar membership in Maryland.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional legal research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a legal team.
• Compassion and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals and their families.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Commitment to ethical and professional conduct.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar (required).
