The candidate will counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome. Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings. Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution. Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects. Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions. Should do public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role. Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience. Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) are required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed. Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision.
