Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Boulder, CO, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in complex litigation, including specific experience in construction litigation. The position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team and take on significant roles in complex litigation matters.

Duties:

• Handle various facets of litigation, including legal research and writing, written discovery, electronic discovery, depositions, expert discovery, mediation, and trial.
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to manage complex litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
• Participate in written and electronic discovery processes.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, expert discovery, and mediation sessions.
• Take on significant responsibilities in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Colorado State Bar.
• 3-6 years of experience in complex litigation, with specific experience in construction litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Colorado State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Experience with construction litigation is a plus.
