Job Overview:
A nationally respected law firm is seeking a highly experienced Corporate & Transactional Attorney to join its growing team. This role is suited for an attorney with at least six years of experience handling commercial transactions and a demonstrated ability to serve sophisticated corporate clients across a range of industries. Location:

Duties:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including purchase agreements, service contracts, letters of intent, and licensing documents
Oversee commercial real estate transactions such as acquisitions, leasing, financing, and dispositions
Advise on technology-related agreements including software licensing and SaaS arrangements
Handle commercial lending matters such as syndicated credit agreements and loan documentation (preferred but not required)
Collaborate with attorneys in multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service
Supervise and delegate work to paralegals and legal support staff
Maintain consistent and timely progress on all assigned matters while meeting internal deadlines and client expectations
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law or transactional practice
Demonstrated experience in commercial transactions, contracts, and real estate law
Ability to manage a substantial workload while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Strong leadership and mentorship capability within a collaborative legal team
Comfortable working under pressure and managing tight deadlines
Ability to meet billable hour and revenue targets
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in Wisconsin or Iowa (required)
Admission in Illinois or Indiana (preferred but not required)
Skills:
Advanced legal drafting and contract negotiation
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and editing proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong client relationship management and business acumen
Proficient in legal software and remote collaboration tools
