Partner Level Corporate amp Transactional Attorney

A nationally respected law firm is seeking a highly experienced Corporate & Transactional Attorney to join its growing team. This role is suited for an attorney with at least six years of experience handling commercial transactions and a demonstrated ability to serve sophisticated corporate clients across a range of industries. Location:

• Milwaukee, WI

Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including purchase agreements, service contracts, letters of intent, and licensing documents

• Oversee commercial real estate transactions such as acquisitions, leasing, financing, and dispositions

• Advise on technology-related agreements including software licensing and SaaS arrangements

• Handle commercial lending matters such as syndicated credit agreements and loan documentation (preferred but not required)

• Collaborate with attorneys in multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive client service

• Supervise and delegate work to paralegals and legal support staff

• Maintain consistent and timely progress on all assigned matters while meeting internal deadlines and client expectations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law or transactional practice

• Demonstrated experience in commercial transactions, contracts, and real estate law

• Ability to manage a substantial workload while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Strong leadership and mentorship capability within a collaborative legal team

• Comfortable working under pressure and managing tight deadlines

• Ability to meet billable hour and revenue targets

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Wisconsin or Iowa (required)

• Admission in Illinois or Indiana (preferred but not required)

Skills:

• Advanced legal drafting and contract negotiation

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and editing proficiency

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong client relationship management and business acumen

• Proficient in legal software and remote collaboration tools
