A reputable personal injury law firm in Dallas, Texas is seeking a dedicated Pre-Suit Attorney to manage personal injury cases prior to litigation. This role is critical in evaluating, investigating, and resolving claims through negotiation and collaboration with case managers and clients. The attorney will serve as the primary legal resource in the early stages of personal injury claims, helping to build strong cases and secure favorable settlements.

Duties:
Review and assess new personal injury cases for merit and value
Collaborate with case managers to evaluate medical records, police reports, and witness statements
Conduct client interviews and fact investigations to support claims
Maintain ongoing communication with clients to provide case updates and legal guidance
Negotiate settlements directly with insurance adjusters and opposing parties
Draft legal correspondence, including demand letters and settlement offers
Track deadlines, statutes of limitations, and other key legal milestones
Manage and organize pre-litigation files and case documentation
Monitor legal trends and changes in personal injury and insurance law
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law
Proven track record of managing pre-litigation personal injury cases
Prior experience negotiating settlements with insurance companies
Ability to handle a high-volume case load efficiently
Familiarity with case management systems (FileVine preferred)
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
Member in good standing with the State Bar
Skills:
Strong legal research and writing skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Client-focused with empathetic and professional demeanor
Negotiation and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software tools
