Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a skilled Product Liability And Mass Torts Associate Attorney to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be crucial in handling complex litigation matters, including individual, multidistrict, mass tort, and class action lawsuits for product manufacturers.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and trial preparation.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as part of trial teams.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm or civil litigation boutique.
• Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• Experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently and as part of a team.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
