A well known law firm is actively seeking a midlevel or senior associate to join its Structured Transactions Practice Group. This role is designed for attorneys with significant experience in corporate or finance transactions. While a background in structured finance and securitization is preferred, attorneys with RMBS, ABS, CLO, or general financing experience will be strongly considered.

Advise on structured finance and securitization transactions
Draft and negotiate transaction documents for RMBS, ABS, CLOs, and related products
Manage complex corporate and financial deals from start to finish
Provide strategic counsel to financial institutions and corporate clients
Collaborate with firm-wide teams on multifaceted deals involving regulatory and transactional elements
3–7 years of relevant legal experience preferred
Law firm experience in corporate, finance, or structured transactions required
Experience with structured products (RMBS, ABS, CLOs) is highly preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong deal management and communication skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school with excellent academic credentials
Active bar membership in Washington, DC, or eligibility to obtain promptly
Deep understanding of financial products and transactional structures
Superior drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities
Effective time management and organizational skills
Proficiency in managing client communications and expectations
Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
